About Monobikash Foundation

Building a sounder mind for Bangladesh — since 2005.

We are a non-profit dedicated to mental health awareness, access to care, and a culture where seeking help is ordinary — not shameful.

Who we are

A pioneer for psychological wellbeing in Bangladesh

Monobikash Foundation (MBF) raises awareness and provides support for mental health — registered under the RJSC of the Government of Bangladesh since 2005.

For two decades we have advocated for a simple idea: caring for the mind is not a luxury — it is part of a healthy life. From early childhood classrooms to trauma rehabilitation and district-level clubs, our work meets people where silence used to be the only option.

We strive to break the stigma surrounding mental health and help build a resilient, psychologically healthier society — one conversation, one family, and one community at a time.

How our impact has grown

Over the years, specialized initiatives have carried the mission into classrooms, districts, and recovery centres.

Mission & Vision

Where we are headed — and why we show up

A clear north star for every program, partnership, and conversation we hold.

Our Vision

A Bangladesh where every person has the knowledge and courage to understand their mind — and to treat mental wellbeing as essential as physical health.

Our Mission

To strengthen emotional wellbeing, widen access to care, and dismantle the stigma that keeps people silent when they need support most.

Our Approach

Science-backed methods, grounded in community

We blend established psychological practice with local trust — so care feels rigorous and familiar at the same time.

Evidence first

We draw on established psychological frameworks and trauma-informed care — adapting global research to Bangladesh’s cultural context.

Community at the centre

Lasting change happens locally. Our clubs, schools, and centres work with families, teachers, and leaders who already hold trust.

Language that heals

We replace silence and shame with plain words, shared stories, and practical tools people can use in real life.

Care across ages

From early childhood to trauma recovery and parenting — support that meets people where they are, not where a brochure says they should be.
